Hi Yogis, I would like to share with you one of my favorite poems.

I read it for the first time during my first Teacher Training in India and few days ago, while I was preparing my Yin Yoga class, it came back to me and I thought: this is what we need in this difficult time confined at home.

We are asked to come to our edge, to reconsider our habits, to figure out new ways of working, interacting and spending our time, but above all to save each other’s life, with a simple request: to stay at home.

As simple as it looks, for many of us this quarantine is becoming quite a torture, for others a pleasure, for others daily life has not changed that much and for others, people in the forefront, this is the worst moment of their lives…in any case I really do think life is giving us a chance: to be better humans. Life is aking us to calm down, to reconnect with ourselves and our beloved, to give the Earth a break from our unstoppable activity, and to think about what is necessary and what is not.

This poem has given me a wisper of hope that I would love to share with you.

“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, we’re afraid!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, We will fall!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
And so they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.”
